Egyptian Mohamed Elneny opened first prayer hall in Emirates Stadium

Egyptian star Mohamed Elneny, player of the English football team Arsenal, celebrated the opening of the first prayer room for Muslim players at Arsenal Emirates Stadium in the capital, London, allowing them to pray and worship starting the month of Ramadan, which began today, Monday, in England.

The Egyptian national team and English club Arsenal player appeared carrying scissors with which he opened the prayer room, which he showed in a video clip, thanking the management and work team of the Arsenal club.

Elneny said, through his account on the (X) platform, “Having this space for reflection and prayer will change the lives of Arsenal players in the future.”

Elneny was famous for his positions in support of the issues of the Islamic nation, the latest of which was his solidarity with Gaza against the Israeli aggression against it.

It is noteworthy that the Emirates Stadium, located in Holloway, north of London, England, is the main stadium for Arsenal, and was opened in July 2006.
